Making meaningful change

To achieve lasting and meaningful change, either personal or professional, we have to cultivate a deeper understanding around who we are – our 'Self Concept'. What are the beliefs unique to us? How did we develop those beliefs? And how do they shape our behaviours and decision making?

Once we have developed a deeper self-awareness, we can, where necessary, challenge these beliefs. Understanding this is fundamental to making sustainable change.

 

You cannot transform what you’re unaware of.

The Self Concept offers practical and achievable ways to help you become clearer in who you and are and what you want in your life and work.

My background

The Self Concept was developed through over 14 years of facilitating change in both one-to-one and group therapeutic settings, underpinned by many years of prior experience in commercial environments. Over time, I noticed that while many individuals understand change intellectually, they often struggle to turn that insight into sustainable behavioural shifts. This is usually because deeper psychological patterns – the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’ – remain unexamined.

The programme was created to bridge that gap. It offers a clear, structured, and adaptable framework designed to support both personal and professional transformation. The process is transparent and practical, helping individuals not only understand the nature of change but also navigate its challenges with greater clarity and self-awareness.

The Self Concept Coaching draws on a range of disciplines including, Traditional coaching frameworks, Psychotherapeutic theories, Embodied leadership philosophy, Solution focussed models, Somatic practice, Neuroscience and Differentiation.

At its heart there is always a focus on individualism, recognising that each person’s unique beliefs and behaviours are fundamental aspects of personal transformation.
